Clwb Marchogaeth Môn Riding Club

Clwb Marchogaeth Môn Riding Club is the BHS British Riding Club affiliated club for Ynys Môn (Anglesey). The club which is open to seniors and juniors, novice and experienced riders organises regular training and competitions at various establishments across the island.

I have spent my life in the outdoors, coming as I do from an outdoor family. I have participated in just about every peaceful outdoor activity there is, on land, water and in the air. I also have an interest in the history of the area both ancient and modern.

I am an ardent supporter of the Outdoor Industry and work to promote its benefits at the highest level within the devolved Welsh Assembly Government.

I am presently undertaking an MSc in Advanced Energy & Environmental Studies at the Centre for Alternative Energy. I never thought I would go back to education, maybe that's what being forty does to you, but even the MSc is outdoor environment focussed!

All this gives me an unique perspective on the mountains that I love and this is passionately shared with my clients.

Funsport

Funsport is a Windsurfing and water sport shop, mainly dealing in windsurfing, kite surfing and surfing accessories, but we also provide our customers with surf-wear and water-sport accessories such as wake-boarding. During windy weekends, hordes of windsurfers and kitesurfers will come down to Rhosneigr from all over Great Britain. They enjoy extremely good conditions for every level of sailing in a friendly and radical atmosphere!

The Rhinog Mountain range comprises some of the most remote & wild landscape in the country, peaks of 2500ft enclosing valleys and lakes each with its own unique character, spate rivers cascading down valley & ravines, through moor-land, woods and rough pasture to the estuary and sea. This variety of landscape provides habitat for a great range of plants & wildlife. Wildlife Wales exists to help visitors and residents alike to appreciate and enjoy this rich environment.

Anglesey Circuit (Trac Môn) was opened during 1997 as a fully licensed MSA (Motor Sport Association) and ACU (Auto Cycle Union) championship racing circuit.

What is Tree Top Adventure?

Tree Top Adventure is a high level adventurous journey through the trees that involves negotiating a series of obstacles. Participants are fitted with a harness and helmet and attached to a safety line.
