The house is set within superb established gardens which lead down onto the Menai Strait. The extensive views take in the Snowdonia Mountains, down to the Great Orme, Telford's Suspension Bridge and the Menai Strait itself.

Think Enid Blyton, think Swallows and Amazons and this will give you an idea of this unique location.

This hidden gem of a house equipped for family use. The house sleeps 12/13 and includes 3 double bedrooms (one has a single bed which can make up to a double bed), 2 sets of bunk beds, 1 twin bedroom and one single bedroom (3 bedrooms downstairs and 4 upstairs) and three bathrooms two with showers (two out of the three bathroom have been modernized).

The recently updated kitchen is equipped with electric cooker, microwave, large fridge, freezer (outside the back door) and washing machine (in the laundry room outside). All kitchen utensils are provided. There is ample dining space for 14 people, the dining room having a large bay window that provides views up and down the Straits. Upstairs there is a library alcove and large sitting room with 3 picture windows (one with balcony) giving the same spectacular views.

Menai Bridge is a lively town offering excellent restaurants and hotels.There is also a wide variety of shops,it has some great walks as well, the one that takes you under the bridge is well worth doing. With so much to see and do on your doorstep, Ynys Castell is also ideal for a retreat. The causeway provides the perfect reason to stay put, at least for part of the day.

nys Castell is one of the islands on the Menai Strait and is a very special place to stay. This older style property has the most fantastic views out over the Strait and to Snowdonia. At any time of year, it is the perfect place to stay and unwind.
